When Mike initially started looking at real estate east of the skyway bridge, being
Burlington born and raised he was hesitant. The thought of commuting from Grimsby
seemed unreasonable but when he was looking to buy a home in Burlington his budget
would have only got him a vertical condo, single garage and drive with a patio compared to the
solid brick, 2 storey 1800 sq. ft home, a block from the lake with a big private backyard, double width drive and 1 1/2 car garage he ended up purchasing in Grimsby. A test commute soon calmed any fears and he's never looked back.

While Grimsby has all the big amenities it also has a small town charm, with shops and boutiques. It just feel's unique.
Budget Goes a LOT further
Yes there's a commute for some but the value makes all the difference. In some cases full sized homes for the same cost as a town or condo in Burlington.
